The Director General Defence Research and Development Bureau (DRDB), Major General EA Ndagi organized a send-forth ceremony in honour of some of his Principal Staff Officers (Directors) in the Bureau who were posted out.

Posting is a phenomenal routine in the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other armed forces all around the world. It is aimed to secure key lines of communication or infrastructure to reinvigorate the system for greater performance. It is also essential for optimizing the effectiveness, professional growth and integrity of the armed forces of Nigeria.

The event took place on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the DRDB’s multi-purpose hall. Those honoured were the Deputy Director General, Air Vice Marshal D Ladan and Director of Aerospace Research, Air Vice Marshal IH Etukudo.

The Director General in his opening remark welcomed all staff and appreciated the senior officers for their efforts and contributions to the growth of DRDB. He highlighted their significant contributions to achieving the mission of DRDB and remarked their posting was a testament to their patriotism and dedication to the armed forces and the country at large. He wished them the best of luck in their new assignments.

The Director General also presented plaques to the outgoing very senior officers.
Giving the closing remark at the event, the outgone Deputy Director General, Air Vice Marshal D Ladan appreciated all the directors and staff of the Bureau for their contributions. He described the Director General as a man of understanding and the epitome of peace with good administration prowess.
